Fermented foods might be beneficial for digestion but the human body is really, really good at eliminating metabolic toxins and there is zero evidence that there is any need to ever do anything to assist this process or that you even can...although, in one way or another, this has been a recurring quackery theme over time...bloodletting, purgatives, enemas and colonics...

  6. I think so, too. I just realized the title I gave this thread was incomplete and misleading. This study made me think timing may be very important when it comes to how to deploy ketamine.
  7. I'm speculating that ketamine might impair the brain's ability to "forget". After trauma, especially during REM sleep, the acute memory gets isolated and walled off from consciousness so that the organism can function in life. Then it festers nicely and manifests in all kinds of chronic psychiatric and medical conditions. Using ketamine after the acute phase could be beneficial though.

Accident victims were screened within the third day after admission to hospital for symptoms of ASD (Peritraumatic Dissociative Experiences Questionnaire, ASD Scale) and prior stressful life events (Traumatic Life Events Questionnaire). Subjects had received a single or fractionated dose of either racemic ketamine (n = 13), opioids (n = 24) or non-opioid analgesics (n = 13) during initial emergency treatment.     The waffles are unfortunately dry as old toast...back in the early days of low carb everything, Kellogs made a LC frozen waffle that was remarkably similar to a normal Eggo but alas, they are no more. The Kodiak pancakes are very good.

My kids devour Eggos so I took a chance and purchased these instead of our usual. With 6 grams of protein per waffle at least they’ll be supplementing their diet with a little more protein. They weren’t any different in price either. Remains to be seen if my kids will notice a difference in flavor. I’m not telling them.

    My hamstrings and ass were still tired from Thurs. Weights were down, but still got shit done. A. Power Snatch Warmup, 60x3, 65x2, 70x2, 75x0, 75x0, 50x3 B. Power Clean + Power Jerk Worked up to 60x3+x3, then doubles up to 85x2+x2 x2sets C. Front Squat Warmup, 90x5, 95x5@9, 86x5x2sets Notes: Didn't quite hit an RPE 9 on my backoff sets because my coach told me to call it a day.

    If you are jonesing for Doritos and want to keep to some better macros, these are probably your new best friend. 18g of PRO in a small bag, 4g of CHO and 6g of F They don't quite have the body of a real corn chip but as a simulation, they do a remarkable job, especially given that they are basically made of whey protein powder.

  23. Jim didn't want to train today because she was at her friend's playing makeup all night. I went and did my squats. I'll do the rest with her tomorrow. Kim decided that I can start getting my squats going again. Slight program modifications. Today I just built up to 225x5 with probably 4 build-up sets on comp squats. No pain. Shut it down there because there's no reason to jump right into things. I think the GMs have kept my ability to squat at least low 400s so I'm not worried about that. Full squats on Mondays, front squats on Wednesdays, and comp squats on Fridays. That way I'm only squatting heavy once per week and getting hypertrophic stimulus for my quads throughout the week. Heavy GMs will stay in on Monday to maintain proper breathing/bracing with heavier weight.
  24. I've been wanting to debate someone on hip thrusts. I'm pro Duffin in this regard. We'll, I can't say that. I'm pro-me but his thoughts almost exactly line up with mine. I definitely think of them as an effective exercise, and a compound movement, and one that does reinforce a lacking functional pattern. They're just not a replacement for Tier 1 shit.

Cheap, so long as you don't think about how they probably harvested the cells. So shady on so many levels. I knew there was a reason I stopped using that source years ago. 1)either they take the money from the clients and give nothing in return, or 2)this is seriously happening on a larger scale than we imagined lol So, want to get those shoulders feeling a little younger?
