  1. I really enjoyed some of these chems, but dayum their vasoconstrictive properties and post usage depression are unrelenting side effects.
  2. I completely agree Kassem. Share with us the binaural beats you like the most. I have always said, if you aren't doing the work, you can always out-think any medication, meaning you can always hammer away at negative states for as long as it takes to override even the best medicine. It's just like Anabolic steroids. You can take them, but you'll only get so much out of them without also exercising, eating well and resting. If I took a gram of test and only gained 10 pounds of muscle, but confessed I never actually worked out? Right... Meditation is crucial to change. What's awesome is that there is scientific evidence to backup the changes on a genetic, or epi-genetic level.... sweet...

    Leucine

Great study and discourse, guys, but I didn't think there was any doubt at this point Leucine has some major MPS benefits. The info about the BCAA versus alanine glycine was very interesting though.
  4. The glycerin and propylene glycol are doing the heavy lifting. you can buy a huge bottle of both on amazon for pretty cheap. A little everclear if you want a thinner solution.
  5. The single best bodyfat calculator I ever needed cost me three bucks at walmart. It's a string of plastic with two handles on each side. The user proceeds to spin it around their body and jump up and down, allowing that plastic rope to pass under their feet. Within seconds, you either jiggle or you don't, and quickly find out just how jiggly you are.

    Bicarb

I have been using a tablespoon in a gallon jug of distilled water, sipped on through a workout. I swear to god I feel so much better when I do this. And it's not just that I'm stronger. I feel like I have more energy, brighter mood, etc...

    Bicarb

Eating right before seems to help, for a minute. I feel fine and think I figured out how to get around it. Then the next morning I have to visit the bathroom four or five times. It starts to feel unhealthy too. Like I can see my meds in the water if that makes sense, don't want to get too visual but I can't help but think this isn't actually a healthy thing if it keeps up over time. I'm going to make a solution of it and sip on it throughout the day and see if that doesn't curtail some of the issues. I have never had an issue with just a teaspoon here and there, so it's really this whole 10+ grams experiment that is fucking me up.

    Bicarb

Does anyone know if bicarbonate degrades in solution? Say I take a gallon of water and add a tablespoon of sodium bicarb to it. If I keep it in the fridge and sip on it from time to time, does it lose it's bicarbiness?

    Bicarb

I'm willing to bet you are on to something. I have noticed after eating a lot of protein and coffee and then diet soda that I feel like crap, and then if I consume club soda it actually makes me feel pretty refreshed. I know people say that pH is tightly regulated so this phenomenon shouldn't occur, but my experience has been quite the opposite. If I could only figure out how to not shit water for the next six hours afterwards, I'd be eating bicarbonate like pez.

    Bicarb

Are you serious? I wonder if the experience I have is some kind of evidence of another issue. I took a tablespoon and dumped it into a gallon jug of water and sipped on it for about an hour. Drank about half of it. I have had about 12 runs to the bathroom, pure liquid. It's aweful. I actually feel great otherwise, like it has an amazing effect on my muscle aches and pains, and it even seems to ease my heart arrhythmia but damn I don't know if I can take this... I'm going to need to be really really slow with my intake apparently. I wonder why some people can just chug it without ill effect while others lose their entire bowels?

    Bicarb

And you didn't have anyone drop out because they pissed out their butt? I don't mean to be frank here, but I've come to two realizations. 1) I have never felt more rested, ache-free, resilient, and healthy as I have in the past two days since taking bicarb again. It makes a real difference for me, both because of the alkalinity and because of the salinity (I sweat like a mofo and I think I know why now). 2) I have had explosive liquid BM's for two days straight. And it's not just that funny kind of , whoa I should back off my dose. I made about 8 trips to the bathroom yesterday and about six so far today. It's like preparing for a colonoscopy over here. not cool. If I can figure out how to get around this one significant issue I will be sold on a lifelong dedication to using bicarb for general health and for workout recovery.

    Bicarb

I'm sorry, I was being cheeky. I shit my brains out. And I still am unfortunately. I really like the effect that bicarb gives me physically, but a 10 gram dose completely empties my bowels. Not cool at all. I wonder if capping it would help? Some of my other supps that give me diarhea tend to do better when capped. Either way, if anyone has any experience with ingesting this stuff and not going explosive, please let me know. I really like the other effects.

    Bicarb

Well I just dropped a lot of water. And all I had to do was drink 15g of bicarb. I've shat about 64 ounces of water I imagine. Christ there has to be a better way. I will say that I have never felt better, physically, aside from this issue. I haven't taken bicarb in a while and I forgot how much better it makes my whole body feel. I almost get a tingling sensation throughout my body and my general malaise lifts like a broken fever. Makes me wonder if I'm not dealing with some underlying health issue, but for now I'll chalk it up to a high protein diet and too much diet soda, and training hard.

Just to keep ranting --- I also have a propensity towards some severe muscle cramping. I trained all summer without air conditioning in Florida, at a boxing gym three nights a week. I sweat profusely anyways and this was just ridiculous. I also noticed severe cramping. So I want to bump up my sodium intake anyways, but curious about anyone else's knowledge of sodium intake etc.
