  1. The vast majority of funding for studies is raised privately. Given that these substances, except ketamine, are still illegal (schedule 1 in the USA) it's a wonder that there are any studies at all. Prohibition is still a thing.
  2. I can't figure out from the article whether this is good or bad. 3 things I eat before noon affect the gut microbiome: cinnamon, stevia, aspartame. Then for all the other meals there is hot sauce. Might as well give up without those. Check out the scientist in a camo shirt in the photo. "Foods they tested that had antimicrobial effects include honey, licorice, stevia... aspartame, hot sauce, herbs such as oregano, spices such as cinnamon and clove, rhubarbs, uva ursi (bear berry), and neem extract." https://www.eurekalert.org/pub_releases/2020-01/sdsu-cfc010920.php
  3. Regarding pinning, I forget how your hormones are after a cycle. Do you do a PCT or are you on TRT?
  4. The evolution of cat and mouse begins... "Their system advances ongoing efforts to develop fully automated technology capable of detecting fake news by achieving 90 per cent accuracy in a key area of research known as stance detection. Given a claim in one post or story and other posts and stories on the same subject that have been collected for comparison, the system can correctly determine if they support it or not nine out of 10 times. That is a new benchmark for accuracy by researchers using a large dataset created for a 2017 scientific competition called the Fake News Challenge." https://uwaterloo.ca/news/news/new-tool-uses-ai-flag-fake-news-media-fact-checkers?utm_source=alumni-e-news&utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=news
  5. Okay, but shutdown and PCT happen in anecdotal real life. So, how do I reconcile these? #confused
  6. I'm having trouble sorting out what this implies -- how would you apply these conclusions in real life?

    Dynamine?

If true, this would be perfect for me

    Dynamine?

i speak for all of them, especially in Ras' absence.

    Dynamine?

Canadians. I think the product was assembled in Vancouver. I assumed it wasn't sold stateside.
  10. Maybe add 1 mg of THC to get the synergistic effect on the ERK pathway (?)

    Dynamine?

We had a herbal product called U-Dream. People swore it worked. A couple of weeks ago it was found to contain eszopiclone after many people had adverse effects. The company is "surprised" and is "investigating" how their product could have been "contaminated"

    Dynamine?

Hmm, I haven't found a working link to any peer-reviewed published studies yet (I searched on both Dynamine and methylliberine)
  13. Thankfully research is chipping away at the "fat is bad" myth, but the last part surprised me... "A randomized controlled trial would help to establish cause and effect but none were found in the literature." No controlled studies on this yet? Sheesh.
  14. Great find! I'm going to share this with the two entheogenic interest groups I meet with.
  15. Hooray for caffeine 🙂
  16. I think they are saying that despite higher activity+resting energy expenditure, the total daily expenditure is the same as in other children. This is due to some kind of trade-off in other unspecified activities, which must be performed less often or less vigorously to compensate. The full text may clarify that. TL;DR https://advances.sciencemag.org/content/5/12/eaax1065.full
  17. That's a body-dysmorphic's worst nightmare
  18. I doubt that would stay confidential, and the boss or HR might take offense. It would be a gamble, I think.
  19. Don't worry about it. Never gonna happen for you or me anymore.
  20. I've dated crazy. It's exciting until it really isn't.
  21. True. Sometimes I use trazodone in small doses based on your experience.
