10" sleeves seem pretty common among trap bar manufacturers. 

 

Standard Olympic steel plates are about 1.25" thick so you should be able to load a bar with 10" sleeves with 630lbs of plates leaving plenty of room for clips.

 

All bets are off, of course, if your gym is equipped with 2" thick rubber covered plates....in which case you are probably going to top out at about 405.

Having glossed over the rubber plates comment in @STENDEC's post, I think you're in good shape if you are in a shitty gym and have 2" bumpers. My old Gold's had at least 3" black 45s. Probably a bit bigger than 3", honestly.

 

In fact, I saw a pic of them earlier today while I was trying to figure my fitness situation out:

They are similar to Pfizer but make all generics. Longer drive. Long drive. An hour. But, they pay for school after a year as well. So, ...I need to try real hard at not fucking this up.

I don't mind using it for now but I will need soecificity for 2 months before the meet in December. So, I'm going to just not get my panties up in a bunch at the moment. It will be a good way to change things up anyways. Conv DLs are a lot more taxing on the vertebral column.  

 

I have a lot of medical stuff going on soon and I'll be starting work soon one way or the other after my treatment starts (July). So, kinda coasting until then. I expect to be able to push things again at the end of August or beginning of September based on medication cycle, my viral load, and when I'm allowed back on trt. It's hard to just maintain with my test at 0 and my "natural weight" wanting to be 140-150.  My plan is to try to keep as much strength as possible and make progress on things like external rotators and lower back stuff and GPP.

Yesterday was a quickie. Going to do another quickie tonight. I'm only going to do my warm-up sets basically since I went pretty hard yesterday on squats. We wanted to get our training days lined up. Rather, Jamie missed training yesterday and demands that I take her today.

The only perrigo I knew before 3 days ago was 'peg perrigo' and they make baby furniture.

 

3 days ago I got a prescription for my testosterone filled and there it was...Perrigo. Quite the coincidence.

I thought they made baby/toddler stuff but then I was like "no, I must be thinking Gerber" because my dad said I was wrong. I guess I was right.

Last session was oly squat, speed bench, trap bar rows. Nothing special because I just did the warm-up sets. For various reasons Jamie wants to switch to upper/lower. Not sure if I've mentioned that already. So, without getting into why, today starts that. A change will be nice for me anyway.

I really need my chest and lats to be stronger so I'm going to make sure to give them more volume. Same with quads and hammies. Lower and mid back, triceps, and shoulders are going to be lower priority.

 

Next 2 sessions will be heavier. I'm not doing some westside kinda thing. Just wanted to get some volume on my squats while I work on my comp setup and practice good reps. The number of sets will increase on the CAT work. On the heavier days, I'll get a few reps of 95%+ intensity for squats, but keep doing the bamboo bench. My pec is feeling good and I want to keep this momentum I have with good pec feels.

I haven't been on the forum much lately because I just haven't been in a certain headspace. Other things have been more important than farting around online lately but I'll be back around eventually. Just a heads up if I only post in my log for awhile.

 

I performed very well today and am regaining some confidence. My squat was beautiful (for me) and I'm content with what it looks like now. I'm built a certain way and I shouldn't fight it to squat like other people. I'll keep working on my quads but not to the point where I ain't squatting heavy.

I took 10mg viagra twice last night. First dose 60 min pre, second dose 30 min pre. I also ate some pickled garlic and took some vit C about 45min pre. 

 

The boner I got was indestructible. Honestly I think I added 20% volume. It was amazing. I also think my sensitivity increased due to the increased size of the head. I felt like a jackhammer. It was like a boner I would get when I was 18 combined with the experience I have now. Jamie said it felt like I was turning her pussy inside out and had to take a bunch of midol to get ready for work this morning. 

 

My ego just went from 6 to 11. 

 

Due to my behavior during our last anal session, I'm not allowed to have it until further notice. However, it'll happen sooner or later. But, I would lose wood trying to get it in there sometimes. So now that I have this new boner stack, I feel like I'm waiting for Christmas. 

 

Upper body workout tonight, pretty pumped about it. On-site interview with Perrigo on Wednesday.  Ultrasound and possible surgery Friday. I reeeally need this week to go well.

My chest/bench is doing really well. I think 300 wouldn't be bad at all at this point. But still...the bench demons are waiting for me to try.

 

I want more jacked arms so I'm going to try to slowly increase my pullup volume until I can do 3X15, then add weight. Because I hate curls and they don't feel good to me. It's like eating pussy. Just muddling through them in hopes that I'll get something for my half-assed effort.
